📦 What’s Inside the Box?

When you receive your Trezor device, check the contents carefully:

Security seals and optional stickers

Do not use the device if the seal is broken or packaging looks tampered with. Always buy from official sources or verified resellers.

🌐 Step 1: Visit trezor.io/start

Open your browser and go to the official Trezor onboarding portal. Choose your device model and download the Trezor Suite app for your operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux).

💾 Step 2: Install Trezor Suite

Trezor Suite is your main control panel. Once installed, launch the application and connect your Trezor device to your computer.

Use the original USB cable provided
Allow access when prompted
Follow on-screen instructions to proceed

🔄 Step 3: Install Firmware

New devices don’t come with firmware installed for security reasons. You’ll be prompted to install the latest version through Trezor Suite. Confirm all steps on the physical device.

🆕 Step 4: Create a New Wallet

Once firmware is installed, Trezor Suite will ask if you want to create a new wallet or recover an existing one. Choose “Create New Wallet.”

📝 Step 5: Backup Your Recovery Seed

The most important step! Your recovery seed (12, 18, or 24 words) is your ultimate backup. Write them down on paper — never store them digitally.
